Forces Pension Society is Endowed with a New Web Site.
The Forces Pension Society (FPS) recently updated its image with new corporate branding and has just launched a dramatically improved web site. The new site, which became live in November, represents a major improvement in the way FPS presents itself and interacts with its members.
For the first time, it is transactional, allowing new members to join online and to purchase FPS branded merchandise. It also contains comprehensive information about the different forces pension schemes and it provides links to numerous organisations and charities that provide assistance to personnel from all three services.
The new site contains full details of greatly expanded member benefit schemes from will-writing and probate to discounted holidays, health & travel insurance and even an introduction service. These complement a private health insurance plan that offers exceptional value for money.
The new site and other improvements to the Society have been made possible by an extremely generous donation from an anonymous benefactor, who has been deeply impressed by FPS’s work. In the next phase of development, the web site will include tools to help members communicate with each other.
FPS General Secretary, Major-General John Moore-Bick CBE DL, said: “There is a growing concern about pensions and FPS is the only independent organisation fighting for the forces and their families on this issue. Going forward, we plan to strengthen the Society by further improving benefits and by growing membership. The new site will help greatly as it makes the Society’s work much more accessible.”
The strategy appears to be working, as applications to join FPS have been building steadily in recent months and are now running at more than 20 applications a week.
